Arxiv Redirector is a Chrome browser extension designed to facilitate researchers in quickly redirecting from arxiv.org to user-friendly mirror sites in China. This extension serves a significant purpose as arxiv.org access in mainland China can be slow, especially when loading PDF documents.
When searching for research papers on popular search engines like Google, Bing, or Baidu, these platforms typically do not include search results from arxiv mirror sites. However, accessing arxiv mirror sites in China offers a much faster browsing experience.
Arxiv Redirector is seamlessly integrated into the Chrome browser's right-click menu, making it incredibly convenient to use. Simply search for a paper on arxiv.org, and if it is found, right-click and select "Redirect!" to load the PDF document from a China mirror site. Similarly, when already on an arxiv PDF page, right-clicking and selecting "Redirect!" will load the PDF from a China mirror site.
